VIOLENCE AGAINST THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN WORLDWIDE Over past of the years women have created many organizations to help them to fight against the violence. It is said that violence against the women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportions. At least one of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime with the abuser that usually is someone known to her. Violence against women is divided in many aspects like: rape, domestic violence, sexual harrasment, reproductive coercion, female infanticide, prenatal sex election, obstetric violence and mob violence. The process of democratic elections in Colombia. Democracy is a system of government in which the citizens exercise power directly or elect representatives from among themselves to form a governing body. Also democracy consists in some elements like: a political system for choosing and replacing the government through free and fair elections, the active participation of the people, the protection of the human rights of all citizens. Two weeks ago, in Colombia was the election consultation period were all the people have the privilege to vote for their best president representative that occurs every   four years.
